Crys basically had a one-day-insomnia last night. Crys couldn't fall asleep even after lying on bed and closing my eyes for hours. Two songs came by crys’s mind during this period of time.
The first song was Justin Bieber’s ‘Pray’. Please note that crys is neither a bielieber fans nor an anti-bieber person. The song just popped up in crys’s mind as the first sentence of the song lyrics described crys’s situation. ‘I just can’t sleep tonight.’ Yup, so true.
The second song was Bruno Mars’s ‘Count on Me’. The song goes: ‘If you toss and you turn and you just can't fall asleep, I'll sing a song beside you.’ And crys wondered who’s willing wake up at 3 o’clock in the morning to sing a song. Crys doubts that anyone will even pick up their phone call. Lol. Furthermore, it’s not good to disturb the others when they’re having sweet dreams.
There’s mainly 2 possible reasons why crys had insomnia.
Reason 1: Due to illness.
Crys was infected by the flu virus 2 days ago. The worst experience that crys had was to sneeze every 3-5 seconds and finish 2 boxes of tissue in an hour. How nice. :)
Reason 2: Due to interrupted bedtime.
Gazillion thanks to the portfolio, crys’s bedtime was interrupted. This was because crys stayed up late to do the portfolio for a few days in a row. Crys’s body got used to going to bed late and hence, crys couldn’t fall asleep. Great. :)
To kill time and to make myself tired, crys ‘stole’ angelx’s iPod when she’s sleeping and started playing with it. Imagine playing ‘Cut The Rope’ at midnight. ._____. However, naughty iPod ran out of battery before crys could finish all the stages. As a result, crys had nothing to do and was back to stoning session. Finally, crys fell asleep at 5 o’clock in the morning. Fortunately it was a Saturday. :D Crys had no class and crys did not have important dates or appointments to meet. Thank god.
